Following another great session in October, we have arranged a session in the new year – Sunday 23rd March 10- 12pm at New College, Leicester.
Easter Closure Dates
Dancing will close after lessons on Monday, 14th April, and will reopen on Thursday, 24th April.

We have been asked to perform at Knighton Park fete again, which will involve some of our stage classes and it promises to be a wonderful event for all. Save the date and please do come along and support the team.
40th Anniversary Annual Show
Looking ahead, we are excited to share that we have a lot planned for the year ahead. Most importantly, we are already eagerly anticipating our 40th Anniversary Annual Show in 2026! Please save the dates: 17th - 21st February 2026 (half term). It’s going to be a milestone event that you won’t want to miss!

Class Photographs
Class photographs will be taken at dancing on Saturday 18th January. All pupils must be in exam wear (black leotard/catsuit). All girl’s hair must be in a bun (no fringes) and no nail varnish or jewellery. Stage class pupils will also require their full Dixon Woods tracksuit. If you require any items of uniform, please do not leave it to the last minute to order. Garments can take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

Charity Show 2024
We are very excited to announce our venue for this year’s charity show Melton Theatre. This is a fantastic venue where are stage classes, many former pupils and not forgetting the world-famous Dixon Woods ‘Dream boys’ are performing for Heart Link and chosen cancer charities in a charity show. Tickets will be priced £15.00 and will be available in July. This will be a sell-out performance as always and not to be missed.

Knighton Park 2024
We have been asked to open the Knighton Fete which will involve our Junior, Inter & Senior Stage class pupils. Please put this date in your diary and come and support us.
Summer Performing Arts Week
The week is open to children aged 5 and over and children from outside the school are also welcome. Join us for a fun filled week full of dance, musical theatre, acting, singing and many more skills, not forgetting BINGO! The week ends with a showcase of what the children have achieved throughout the week. Thank you to everybody who has already signed up, to secure your place please see Gary - the cost is £30 deposit with the balance £100 payable by the end of July.

Exam Day!
Good luck to all pupils taking exams on Sunday 19th May, please arrive ready with the correct attire, punctual and bring your smile. If you require a badge, pink ballet socks, white band or scrunchie please purchase from Gary. Our next session is in June, and we are currently assessing pupils each week.
Tumbling Session
We have organised an opportunity to hire the facilities of a gym club in Leicester on Sunday 7th April 11am to 1pm. This will give pupils a chance to work on their skills and confidence with tumbling. Please see Gary if you would like to attend, as places are limited. This is for pupils who take Acro classes age 7+. The cost for this session will be in the region of £15.00 per person, dependant on numbers.
